Founder Richie James combined years of site work with an eye for design to create a business focused on premium, artistic wall finishes. Richie is the hands and heart behind RJ Finishes. With a background in the trades and a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship, he built this company on the belief that walls should do more than just divide space they should tell a story.
After years working on-site across the UK, Richie discovered Venetian plaster and became obsessed with its beauty, texture, and timeless versatility. Today, he leads a team dedicated to delivering bespoke finishes that elevate homes, studios, showrooms, and commercial spaces alike.

Jai Harman is the co-founder of RJ Finishes, bringing forward a distinguished heritage in British construction. With family roots in Surrey, the Harman & Fitzpatrick lineage is historically recognised for its contribution to the post-war reconstruction era.
Tasked with developing substantial portions of residential estates across Surrey, the Harman name remains physically imprinted on buildings and municipal infrastructure, serving as a lasting testament to craftsmanship and precision of the name.
Guided by this legacy, Jai has continued the pursuit of excellence through RJ Finishes, with the focus now on Venetian plastering and bespoke surface design. His approach is defined by an emphasis on refinement and aesthetic cohesion.
